When you combine 165 acres of open woodlands and forests, 286 acres of CRP land, 329 acres of bean crops and other grass pastures, and 15 ponds and then place it in the heart of northwest Missouri, what do you get?: Trophy Whitetail, Big Gobblers and an unforgettable hunting experience, year after year.

Located just outside the town of Gallatin in Daviess County, this hunt lease consists of three tracts (80 ac., 120 ac. and 580 ac.) that are all within two miles or less of each other, thus increasing the hunting success by covering more range.  The terrain is slightly rolling to flat.  The woodlands are made up of forested stream corridors and larger size timber stands comprised of hickory, black/northern red/white/bur/chinquapin oak, black walnut, locust, cottonwood, sycamore, hackberry, elm, cedar and persimmons.  The 286 acres of CRP ground is planted in CP25 (Big Bluestem, Indian Grass, Little Bluestem, Sideoats Grama, and Forbs – 225 acres) and CP1 (Smooth Brome, Orchardgrass, Lespedza, and Red Clover - 61 acres).  Bean crops are planted annually and grass rangeland is abundant.  Two (2) already set tower blinds (in field) and eight (8) already set ladder stands (in woods/edge of woods) will be available for use in scouted or other desired locations!  This farm has a long history of light hunting pressure.
